This is a Catch & Release Fishery. All Fish are put back, and not taken for eating.

PAYMENT

You must pay before setting up, You can find the payment box by the first pit you come to on your left, payments are checked within the time you are fishing, so dont take the risk of having to pay another £2 on the bank, or being banned for non payment!

DAMAGE, LOSS or INJURY

Owners take no responsibility for any loss, or damage to Cars, Tackle or Persons at this Fishery.

RUBBISH BINS

There are bins provided around all the pits, please use them. There still seems to be a minority who cannot walk 10ft to put their rubbish in a bin and would rather throw it in the bush, You will end up with a fixed penalty of £5.00 or being banned from this fishery.

UNHOOKING MATS

These are not compulsory here, but are suggested to be used in order to protect the fish. Also other fisheries may not let you fish without one, so make this the place that has shown you a good example.

FISHING HOOKS

This fishery uses Barbless hooks only. (Checks will be made !!)

KEEPNETS

No Keepnets to be used at this fishery, except for matches and also at managements descretion. Find out first !

FISHING RODS

We have a Two Rods Maximum policy at this fishery, Please stick to it !! VERY IMPORTANT

Anyone found leaving line on the bank will be banned as wildlife are getting caught up in it and is causing serious injury or even death.

LANDING NETS

All landing nets must be dipped in pit before use, this then helps to protect the fish, from scraping and losing scales on a dry net.

FISHING MATCHES

Matches can be booked for 10+ People on consultation with the owner. Please do this with plenty of advance notice to the fishery.

NOTICEBOARD

We will try to notify everyone by notice board at the fishery and/or this website relating to any important information we are given from the owner in relation to the status of the venue for any reason why it should close, eg: flooding, polution, maintenance, as we are a fishery that likes to put safety first.

STEALING

Anyone caught removing fish from this fishery, WILL BE BANNED AND PROSECUTED!.
