     This is a Catch & Release Fishery. All Fish are put back, and not taken for eating.

WARNING BEWARE OF 11KV POWER CABLES WHICH ARE ABOVE PART OF THE CAR PARK AND RUN OVER THE ROAD AND ALONGSIDE THE SMALL PIT !

WARNING, DO NOT GO OVER ANY FENCES, AS THESE ARE ALL FOR YOUR SAFETY, THEY ARE ALL THERE TO KEEP YOU OFF OF THE MOD LAND, WHICH IN THIS CASE IS THE FIRING RANGE !

DUE TO THE TERMS AS SET OUT BY THE MOD, NO JUNIORS CAN FISH WITHOUT THE PRESENCE OF ANYONE OVER 18 WHO WOULD BE CLASSED AS AN ADULT, THE ADULT CANNOT FISH UNLESS HE/SHE HAS A TICKET.

PAYMENT
You must have a ticket before setting up, You can purchase the ticket at a number of places: The GULF Filling Station Garage just by the turning for Buckenham Pits, which is Ashburton Road. Jollies and The fishing shop in Thetford. Tickets are checked within the time you are fishing, so dont take the risk of being banned for non payment !

DAMAGE, LOSS OR INJURY
Owners take no responsibility for any loss, or damage to Cars, Tackle or Persons at this Fishery.

RUBBISH BINS
There are NO bins provided at the Fishing Pits, SO PLEASE TAKE YOUR LITTER HOME. If you dont follow these rules then you could be banned from this fishery.

FISHING RODS
We have a Two Rods Maximum policy at this fishery, This means 2 Rods, or 1 rod and 1 pole Please stick to it !!

VERY IMPORTANT
Anyone found leaving line on the bank will be banned as it is a danger to wildlife, causing serious injury or even death.

LANDING NETS
All landing nets must be dipped in pit before use, this then helps to protect the fish, from scraping and losing scales on a dry net.

FISHING MATCHES
Matches are weekly at Buckenham Big Pit, Buckenham Small Pit, and Lynford Lake, on a rotary basis.

NOTICEBOARD
We will try to notify everyone by notice board at the fishery and/or this website relating to any important information we are given from the owner in relation to the status of the venue for any reason why it should close, eg: flooding, polution, maintenance, as we are a fishery that likes to put safety first.

STEALING
Anyone caught removing fish from this fishery WILL BE BANNED AND PROSECUTED !!!.
